The debut album by the iconic frontman of Arcturus and Borknagar re-issued on limited vinyl + poster!
ICS Vortex’s debut album "Storm Seeker" is a havoc of groovy metal attitude mixed with 70’s prog, stoner rock and his signature clean vocals. Catchy, riff based, and free of album fillers, ICS Vortex anchors the 45 minutes trip into the storm on the solid foundation of the ICS Vortex trademarks.
I need to hang out and have a beer with Yusaf just once before I die. Seems like such a mad genius! Love his vocals on this and the album as a whole is brilliant! DCLXVI
The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
One of the most majestic and imposing albums I have ever listened to. No other project is able to convey the uncompromising beauty and might of the vast cosmos like Mesarthim does. Insignificance on such a grand scale is maybe not so troublesome after all if wonder and splendour await in every corner of the universe? MarsDragoner
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
