It has a gloomy, irk, forest whisper kind of sound, this is the authentic 1995 Norwegian BM sound, no remastering here. Again a gem worth unearthing and polishing to showcase what true Norwegian BM sounded like back then. Favorite track: Dark Clouds.

Originally formed in 1991 Malignant Eternal definitely left their mark on the nineties black metal scene. The now classic debut album “Tårnet” was self-released in only 500 units by the band and shortly after re-issued by the infamous Hot Records (Shagrath 004) in 1996. Now 24 years after its first release we present the album in full glory as digipack with booklet, noble gatefold lp on various colors vinyl and cassette. A T-shirt is being printed too. Comes packaged in a revamped layout with never before seen pictures and liner notes of founding member T. Reaper.

Tout est une question de perspective. En regardant la pochette d'Algleymi, on se dira : "c'est un constat d'échec de l'humanité face aux puissances cosmiques". Mais le gigantisme de cette silhouette est un signe que Misþyrming veut plutôt s'emparer de cette puissance et le black metal le confirmera très vite. Il est plus maîtrisé, massif et épique. Si le chant est déjà impressionnant, dégageant plus de haine, les guitares sont de leur côté absolument monumentales. Un chef-d'œuvre du genre ! Jordan Vauvert
